Join your neighbors and Community Coalition to make our community a safer and healthier place for everyone. Come and learn more about FREE activities for families at Summer Night Lights at King Park.

June 2010

6/12 - Youth Block Party hosted by Kids IV Life Youth Foundation. Block party will span from 105th and Main from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Admission and food is FREE. There will be resources and services for adults and youth and activities for kids (including jumpers, water slides, skateboarding, relay races and more).

6/3 - DCFS Day of Action. Join South LA Relative Caregivers to demand more mental wellness services for them and their children. Caregivers are willing to step up to the plate to provide safe and stable homes for children. The Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Mental Health must step up to provide Relative Caregivers with the support necessary to help families thrive!

5/8 - CoCo is hosting a Relative Caregiver Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 10am-12pm.

Delicious brunch will be served and there will be gifts for our South LA relative caregivers. RSVP online.
