Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Academy
Last Fall 2009, students started attending the ACE Academy at Locke High School. The Academy will train students for high-skilled and high-paying careers in Architecture, Construction and Engineering.

Nearly 60 percent of South LA students "disappear" from high school before graduation. The majority leave school with few options beyond poverty, low-wage work or the illegal economy. The ACE Academy will help the disappearance rate by giving students a path from school into solid careers.

Youth and Workforce Development Alliance
Youth and Workforce Development Alliance is a broad-based partnership of community, business and labor organizations working to prepare youth (14-24) for career opportunities in high growth industries. The YWDA has been working to bring ACE to South LA. The alliance includes:
