“When I ate in the student cafeteria at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), as a college student, the Food Service workers would often tell me about the injustices they faced and how they would fight for what rightfully belonged to them. Their passion for social justice then influences me. I am passionate about the work I do and want to help empower Black and Latino residents of South LA to affect change in their communities.”
