Tiffany Caldas is a social worker, artist and organizer who grew up adjacent to Washington D.C., but calls many places home. Since 2007, Tiffany has worked in the social justice fields of special needs education, severe mental illness research, sexual assault advocacy, gang reduction and prevention, and intergroup dialogue. She now serves as Community Coalition’s Special Projects Manager, where she oversees projects in support of the President/CEO including: a renovation shifting Community Coalition headquarters’ to solar power and beautifying the parking lot into a multi-use programming space, the embRACE LA initiative in partnership with the city of Los Angeles, and coordinating Community Coalition’s esteemed Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and art from the University of Miami, and a Masters of Social Welfare with a concentration on communities, organization and policy from the University of California Los Angeles.
FUN FACT: One of the most difficult and life changing things Tiffany has ever done was meditate for 100 hours over the span of a 10 day silent Vipassana meditation course.
