Eden Aberra

Eden, a UCLA graduate, was born in San Jose, CA. During her youth, she saw how quickly the effects of gentrification–due to the influx of corporations in the Bay Area–changed her once multi-generational and vibrant community. Underpinned by her father’s spirit as an organizer in their community, Eden became even more grounded in building equitable communities. During her undergraduate years at UCLA, she worked as a case manager for individuals experiencing vehicular houselessness and further developed her equity-oriented mindset. As a result, Ms. Aberra comes to CoCo honored to support Black and Brown communities in South Los Angeles.

Fun Fact: Eden loves all kinds of music and has made over 100 playlists for family and friends over the course of a year.
