Malik Henry is the Communications Coordinator at Community Coalition. He received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a Minor in Art from Lincoln University (LU) in Jefferson City, Missouri. Before graduating, he worked to develop a podcast that helped journalism students develop media skills and inform the greater LUMO community of university-related news. During his time participating on the show, he interviewed political analyst Donna Brazile, entertainer Fondworth Bentley, and many more.
Malik’s passion is to use his public speaking and writing skills to share information relevant to our fight with disenfranchised residents in order to reimagine our communities and provide better opportunities for Black and Latinx people.
Fun Fact: Malik is a spoken word poet and painter who hopes to share his work with South LA.
