Enrique Gaspar (He/Him)
Community Organizer
Enrique Gaspar had the privilege to study Social Geography at UNAM, in Mexico City. In 1989 he moved to Orange County, CA and started working as a community organizer with Hermandad Mexicana Nacional. Enrique then spent time organizing workers with HERE Local 681 and then transitioned to SEIU Local 1877 where he represented Downtown L.A. janitors during their historical strike in 2000. In 2013 he joined Community Coalition as a Kinship In Action organizer. He currently is in charge of organizing Community Coalition’s parent members.
