Mr. Cástulo de la Rocha is President and CEO of AltaMed Health Services Corporation and has been a long-standing community health leader for more than 35 years. He has taken AltaMed from three employees to a fully accredited Federally Qualified Health Center with nearly 2,400 employees, delivering nearly one million patient visits annually over more than 40 sites in Los Angeles and Orange counties. His success in providing high-quality, affordable and accessible health and human services to underserved communities has earned him the U.S. Surgeon General’s Gold Medallion for Public Health; the Pioneer for Justice Award by the Mexican American Bar Foundation; the Community Service Award from the American Diabetes Association; the Los Angeles Business Journal Lifetime Achievement Award; and in 2016, the Leader in Action Award from UCLA Prime.

Mr. de la Rocha also currently serves on the boards of the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG), Center Theatre Group, and the Latino Theater Company. He is also a Senior Fellow at the UCLA School of Public Affairs.
