EMPOWERMENT TENT:
The Empowerment Tent will focus on our People First Platform, our community vision to build a prosperous community for Black and Brown families in South LA. There will be multiple interactive experiences throughout the day that will give community members an opportunity to take action and join campaigns and policies that tackle bail reform, gentrification, homelessness, safety, and organizing. We are also excited to announce that there will be performances by Get Lit Poets and a special art workshop by Barrio Mobile Art Studio!
HEALTH IS WEALTH TENT:
Stop by our Health Is Wealth Tent and take advantage of health and wellness resources including yoga, pilates and a dance workshop from our community partner CONTRA-TIEMPO at 3:30 PM.
KIDS ZONE:
The Power Fest Kids Zone is going to be super hype! Let the kids experience a carnival area packed with face-painting, games, a 45-foot Ferris wheel, and special performances by Tommy The Clown and his crew.
FOOD TRUCK GARDEN
We’re excited to have some amazing food trucks at Power Fest this year. There will be a variety of food selections accommodating most dietary needs including Billionaire Burger Boyz, I Love Funnel Cakes, and Pocho Pops.
MEMBERSHIP GARDEN:
Due to popular demand, we are bringing back our membership garden, a VIP section where you can enjoy special accommodations, receive FREE gifts and meet this year’s performers including Rapsody, Quetzal, Earth Arrow, Aponte, and Queens of the New Age DJ Collective! This space is for Community Coalition dues-paying members only. Join now!
This year’s Membership Garden will feature Main Stage VIP seating, a relaxed and intimate lounge area, aguas frescas, delicious and healthy appetizers, a photo booth, VIP access to meet artists and speakers, and a FREE CoCo Swag Bag for every member that enters.
